HunarGhar is a dream which began by empowering myself towards empowering everyone
connected to this concept.
Baldia town is one of the marginalized areas of Karachi, women are the major victims due to cultural, economical and religious restrictions. They have either limited or zero access to the world outside due to which they suffer through domestic violence , trauma or any other abuse.
our aim is to provide them safe space, skills along with psychosocial support, once they are mentally stable, we will help them learn different skills such as tailoring, home decor, fashion designing, beautician, small business trainings, photography and film making training. Later we will give them small loans or in-kind support to start their own initiatives and become empowered and confident to face the world alone.

Despite of all the challenges she decided to go against the odds and initiate the concept of Hunarghar to help the women suffering like her. She initiated it by selling all her belongings because this journey was not only to empower these women but herself too.
